St. Didacus Assistance: is offered
to all victims of the Sayre Fire. Prior to completing the St. Didacus
Assistance Form all victims need to apply/register with FEMA at (800)
621-3362. Your FEMA number is a necessary to complete St. Didacus Assistance.
The St. Didacus Assistance form is available in the Parish Office or
you can download it here. Once
completed turn into the Parish Office or it may be fax (818) 367-0604.
Monetary
Donations to be given back to victims: Checks can be mailed
to St. Didacus Church at 14337 Astoria, Sylmar, CA 91342; payable to
St. Didacus Christian Service Fund.
The
American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles has established a
HOTLINE for general inquires from disaster victims relating to the Sylmar
wildfire. The phone number is 1-800-540-2000. Impacted persons should

Providence Senior Peer Counseling: Senior Peer Counselors are volunteers who have been extensively trained and are supervised by a mental health professional. They will provide free one-on-one counseling designed to support and assist those adults 50 years old or older who are depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or challenged by their circumstances. Please call Carolyn Young, LCSW at 818-847-3845 to arrnage for counseling at St. Didacus or in your home.
