Extra-curricular activities are provided throughout the year for students of different age groups. Activities offered vary from year to year, and may involve a participation fee if the program is provided by an outside contracted service. The following programs are generally offered by an outside service:
Noteworthy - A music program that is offered to students of all ages. The program is offered after school once a week and has a focus on keyboarding skills. Noteworthy participants perform a concert for parents and guests at the conclusion of each session. There is a participation fee.
Mad Science - Offered to students of all ages one day per week in 8 week sessions after school as an educational enrichment which enhances the Science curriculum. It is a hands-on experience for the students designed to spark enthusiasm and imagination at all levels. There is a participation fee. |

The following are sponsored by St. Didacus School:
School Choir - Is generally offered to students in grades five through eight. The choir meets every Friday after school Mass, 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.(approximately). The choir members are required to attend certain seasonal parish celebrations, dates and times are provided to the parents at the time of enrollment for the choir.
Altar Servers - Students in grades five through eight are provided the opportunity to serve their parish and school and community through participation as an altar server. St. Didacus students are trained by the Pastor at the beginning of the school year. Altar servers serve all masses, during school, on weekends, and on special occasions; this may include funerals and weddings. Each server is provided with a schedule of their assignments.
Cheerleading - Is offered to students in grades three through eight. Participants must go through a try-out process in order to make the squad. Once selected, squad members must attend all practices, games and pep rallies as scheduled. The cheerleading squad is under the direction of the coordinator and a faculty moderator. |
