RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is an opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith and the formation process for becoming fully initiated into the Catholic Church as an adult.  RCIA is the program designed for those who have NEVER BEEN BAPTIZED, or who have been Baptized but have never made their First Holy Communion.

*** IF you have been Baptized AND have made your First Holy Communion and are looking for Confirmation only, you will need to contact the St. Didacus office to inquire about a separate class for Adult Confirmation which starts in January ***

The 2022/2023 Session of our English RCIA Classes will meet every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting on Sept 1st  through May 18th, 2023. Sacraments will be received at the Easter Vigil on April 8th.

The cost of the class is $150 which will cover all materials, a bible, religious items you will receive, and a retreat.

Classes will be held in the 8th grade classroom.  You must bring a copy of your Baptism certificate with you to the first class in order to be registered. If you do not have   a copy of your Baptism certificate, you may research what church you were Baptised at and contact them to obtain a copy. This may take some time, so please contact them as soon as possible in order to ensure you have this ready for the first RCIA class on Sept 1st.  For more information please contact Johnny Romero at 818.472.4599, or Peri Gillis at 818-472-3745
