St. Didacus English RCIA Program Information

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the English RCIA program at St. Didacus! We’re so glad you’ve found us, and we look forward to walking with you on this sacred journey of faith.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the formal process through which adults are fully initiated into the Catholic Church. Through prayer, catechesis, community, and the celebration of the sacraments, RCIA prepares individuals to become disciples of Christ and full members of His Church.

Who is RCIA for?

RCIA is intended for adults who:

Have never been baptized, or

Have been baptized in another Christian tradition, or

Have been baptized Catholic but have not yet received First Holy Communion or Confirmation.

If you are already baptized, have received First Holy Communion, and are seeking only the Sacrament of Confirmation, you’ll want to explore our Adult Confirmation Program, which is separate from RCIA.

St. Didacus offers both RCIA and Adult Confirmation programs in English and Spanish. For more information about the Spanish-language programs or the Adult Confirmation process, please contact the parish office.
